Madison Amps...back???

So a couple of years ago, Madison Amps closed down when the economy just went crappy. Me and my husband were good friends with the owner, Andy Hitch, and their lead tech, Ron Carillo. We used to show an enormous amount of support for their band at the time, "The Mandrake", did fund raisers to support any venues, etc. Well, The Mandrake is no longer, but just last night, our band, Midgard, shared a stage with Ron's latest band, "Draghoria". Of course, I missed it due to my deployment... :( But I did facebook Andy and asked if it's true about what I heard...that Madison Amps is coming back!!! Waiting for a response, I'll let you know what I find out!

I do not know why Andy would say that Madison Amps was not coming back when it has and did in December of 2012 when I bought the company.

We are working on new amps that are in fact made here in Denver, Colorado and they are point-to-point. We already have one new bass amps that is a 50 Watt all tube. Just check out the website Link Removed or the old www.madisonamps.com wich goes directly to the new site.

I've got a Madison 210 bass cab (w/tweeter) that I bought off a friend of mine about a year ago. They're great speakers, and lots of people compliment me on my tone. I'm fixing to pair it with a 15 but I don't know the exact wattage of the speakers. The ratings weren't listed in back so I had to open it up in back to find out if watts & ohms was listed on the speaker magnet. Unfortunately, all that was listed was the ohms of the speakers. They were 16ohms a piece!! That's quite an impedance rating per single 10 inch! I called Madison, but the new owners had no clue what the wattage was. They were guessing 150watts per 10inch, but said not to qoute them on that. I figured maybe Andy Hitch or Ron Carillo would know for sure. If you know how to get a hold of them that would be awesome. **I've been trying to get info on this cab for MONTHS!!

WAY BACK WHEN...

Madison Speakers were on eBay when I was getting back into music after a hiatus of a few decades. This was before I was lurking, let alone a member, of TalkBass.com. I printed a couple Screen Shots. Here are some cr@ppy cell phone pics. If you've sifted through the ashes of the flaming Madison has received, their specs weren't exactly taken seriously.
