Madison gear GTG

sorry to say, i won't be able to make it. between gas prices and the crazy-a$$ weather we've been having, i gotta stay home.
Sorry to hear it, Greg. We'll have to get you over when we do a Chicago GTG.

Done Sir Greg. I remember thee. Maybe bring the Martini bass too for Sh(ts and giggles.
Cool, thanks, Bob!

The sky was reaaaallllly low, and it started raining as we got in our cars. As for me, though, I didn't hit much rain coming back.

Thanks to Pedro and Rugaar, I had a good time meeting everybody and seeing some folks again. My tube amp GAS is now seriously flaring up!

Gee, and my Aguilar GAS is firing up. Big time.

There sure was some tube love going on! Modern, 70's and 60's were nicely represented. SVT, V-4, B-15, Aguilar and even a very sweet Peavey. I am bummed my Eden crapped the bed last night, it would have brought a different flavor.

I totally enjoyed the day. Got me thinking Spector + Aguilar. Or MTD + Aguilar.

Jim

Wow I can't thank you guys enough for coming by. Was great to meet all of you. Everybody brought some great gear and if I had it to do over again, I'd rent the studio for a longer period of time just so we could hang out and shoot the shineola longer.

Greg, awful glad you made it back alright. I was awful worried and felt bad I hadn't thought to invite you to hang out with me a while longer 'till the storms cleared.

I'd like to do this again in a month or two and see if we can find a date where some of the guys that couldn't make can come.

Many thanks to all. I had a great time.

I'd have to say our Madison GTG was a success! Thanks to all who made the drive and hauled their gear. It was fun to meet everyone. Glad the storms held off and everyone was able to make it home safe.

Here's a few PICTURES I took. Sorry about the poor quality. I guess I was in a hurry to get back to trying everything out! Lots of cool old gear and hot newer stuff! I really enjoyed trying everything out. It gave me a lot to think about as I evaluate my own rig.

Thanks again to all for a fun way to spend Saturday afternoon. I'm looking forward to the next GTG...fall maybe?

Hey everybody. I'm sorry I missed out on all the fun this weekend...I was out of town. But I would have REALLY liked to have brought my new Nordstrand 5 (and see what it sounds like through Jason's 4 12!!!). It makes me happy. I sleep with it. (not really)

Any talk about doing this again in the future? who had the best gear?! haha...
