So, three years ago I ordered a short-scale P-bass (Harley Benton PB Shorty), strings, shielding foil and vinyl wrap for the pickguard.
And took delivery of some tuners from a very generous Moonshine Guitars, kindly brought across the Atlantic by @Cowboy in Latvia.
And I finally got round to doing the mod job!
Below are start and finish photos.
And there's a YouTube vid with more steps.
The overall job was to vinyl wrap the pickguard, shielding, reshape the headstock and convert to 3+1 (didn't go to plan), and put in the new tuners.
Not perfect. I'd add a bit back onto the headstock if I could. But I prefer it now to how it started, so I'm happy.
