I'll just leave this right here:
a $150 b:assmaster?!?!?! awesome!
when will you be demoing this pedal for talkbass, vegas?
I haven't gotten one...yet!
this looks very promising. smaller footprint, smaller price! i'd like to hear this one, i've been gas'n for a b:assmaster for some time now.
Did you just get back from a ski trip when you took that photo Justin?
Probably had to wear eye protection in case he melted his own face off.
was interested in the darkglass duality, but it lacks the awesome paint job of the malekko
No Malekko dealers in my city. I would (almost) never buy a pedal without playing it first, but a signature JMJ pedal? I feel like I could trust that!
Brassmasters in general are DELICIOUS!
I believe it. Everything I've seen in videos makes me want one, but it's not a cheap pedal to buy without playing first. Fuzz pedals are so bass, rig and playing style dependant that I don't like risking it. $150 ain't bad at all though.
I'd love to bring the line into my store but I don't think my boss wants another pedal line
I’m gonna order one ASAP. Maybe today. I can’t see how it isn’t going to be everything I expect it to be. I’ve actually been resisting buying an B:Assmaster just because of the real estate it’ll take up with my current rig. I’m glad I did now. This is great!!
Also, loving that new Fender, JMJ. Too cool.
yes, pedal seems cool but... what is that bass?!
Fender Starcaster reissue.
I just moved a ton of pedals and have a Jupiter fuzz by walrus audio. I think that pedal is more muff like so I can justify buying this one....Right?
yep! other acceptable answers:
"i don't have one in this color."
"this pedal is for my 'b rig'."
and "this will make a great backup!"
I'm a fuzz junkie and I approve of this post!
I just ordered the fuzz you worked on. Any chance you share some pointers on it? Never tried a b:assmaster..just a mess of other stuff
Have it and love it
HUGE +1! It's almost like a hybrid of my two favorite pedals! It had the low end heft of my PE Depth Charge, but with the familiar sound and saturation of my B:Assmaster! The boys hit this one out of the park, BIG TIME!
