I go down to Glasgow once a month for a get togher of musos fro the 60s/70s for an all day jam. Rather than take down my PBass I use what is available. Last time I was using a Mania Bass and was really impressed with the lightness of weight and action etc. My mate had bought it off a friend and after a troll of the Internet I have concluded they are no longer manufactured, info I got that they were manufactured by the Eishoka company in Japan with factories in Malaysia & Vietnam. Attached are a couple of photos the actual bass... any suggestions of where else I can look or is it a case of keeping an eye out on ebay,gumtree etc
