Maple + Mahogany short scale

Just about finished. I went with a wipe on ploy finish as I dont have a compressor yet , or a clean section of my basement for that matter. Need to get a couple more pickup screws and install strap buttons.

Little tip for ya all in case you run across this, Bartolini has html and pdf wiring diagrams for their 4 conductor humbuckers, guess what, they dont match. The html set has a couple of wires reversed for 3 way toggles compared to the pdf version resulting in a series/single/off situation. I think you can guess how I figured that out.

The ACG preamp is really nice, still not completely used to it but but you can get a lot of different sounds out of it. I'll try and get some sound clips sometime over this week. I only have a couple of options for recording though, one is through this little fender practice amp with the built in mic on my laptop , the other is direct line into my laptop into garage band. Pretty sure either way will yield craptasic results but thats all I have for choices right now.

wow beauty! if you don't mind some pics are not showing up, how about some cavity and back shots?

Pics should be back. I hate it when flickr does that. Dont have any pics of the cavity right now, I can tell you that it's kind of tight in there though and I really need to tie some extra wire up and move it out of the way.

Effing beautiful.

Line in to GarageBand isn't as bad as you might think; try it.

Yeah, it's not too bad. It gets a bit disconcerting at times when playback starts to lag from the input and is screws me up completely.

Thanks for the kind words guys. As Bob Ross would say this was a "Happy Accident" seeing how it was not planned exactly like this to begin with.
