Maple, maple, maple..

Oh my goodness graphics. That's awesome!
I'm amazed by people who can make their own instruments by hand!
A thing of beauty indeed.

(And I'm over here chipping paint off my P bass trying to install straplocks in it. :D )

thank you

That looks great! I'm digging the use of the burl, and the dark maple at the center of the back. The only thing I'd change would be to ditch the purpleheart nut. In my unasked-for opinion, it sticks out like a sore thumb and is very distracting.
... thank you... well purpleheart flows throw the bass.. under the fretboard.. under the headstock cap... in the neck Btween center block... Btween top and core... point taking but I love the look.. humbled that you looked my way,(thread) being a awesome builder urself...I'll be taking more detail pics

Wow!!! That is the first single cut I've ever liked. Love the headstock as well!
... thank you I like it tooo..!!

Wowowoow! This is really really nice :)

Is the bridge p-up longer than the neck one? They usually are the same size. I like those p-ups. They are my favorite Barts.

I would have probably added a small Purpleheart detail somewhere else on the front, just to tie with the nut. Like, PH p-ups covers or PH position dots... or PH knobs. or....let the PH show in the truss rod adjustment slot. But that's just me ;)

Congrats! Really cool bass :D

..thanks.. my fav pickups too... actually its to different pkups... the bridge is from one set ( my client has the neck position on his bass) and the neck position is also a bridge position pickup.. it was my client pickup but he decided to go with a wider string spacing, so that pickup could not be used any more for the bridge position.. so I made use of it in my personal build.... hope that makes sense...

The bridge pickup is the X5 narrow sb and the neck is the X4 narrow sb
