gah... cant find video from saturday... have to have my mom upload it for me.
we just marched in the pro-football HOF parade in canton... sadly my last parade as far as its looking... might be able to make a football game this year, but probably won't play.
I find it amazing. other bands are in perfect formation and in uniform as soon as they get their instrument. if they have to move in the staging lanes they do so in perfect formation. we wander like a herd of lost cattle. kind of amusing when we are just as good as them on the street and not dying at the end of it (we use trios instead of quads or quints/tenors as far as the drumline goes). we are a much more old-school band than most i've seen. our fieldshows aren't DCI style, we play mostly marching tunes like most corps style bands use for intro/finale but we do that for every song with no link to the next one and no softer section.
its very interesting to watch when we go places.
and also the look on people's faces when we talk with other bands and say we're from NY... thought that was a long ways away... I didn't have the heart to tell them that i drove myself down from michigan to meet the band there
