Interesting options. My MB combo head is awesome but I wanted to use it with other options. Meanwhile the TC Thrust is a perfect set in while I do other stuff with the MB 500 watts. It drops right in, has fan alignment with the MB screen and gives me the 500 watts the bottoms are used to. By removing the top screws and leaving the bottom screws in, it cradles the head perfectly. I put velco "bandaids" (ha) over the screws to hold them in place. The TC head is by no means the same quality as the MB but this has given me all sorts of options to run more unique amplifier arrangments and even split my pair of MB 12's into stereo for effective chorus or simply for stage sound dispersion. Just sayin...for under 200 bucks the world is your oyster or simply as a convenient speaker/amp backup that you can leave in your car. btw, I had to buy a twist lock to 1/4 jack for the speaker as the TC built in connection did not accept a 1/4 jack in the middle of the plug for some strange reason. No problem. Amazon, 2 for 9 bucks.
