MarkBass LittleMark IV?

I believe only the 'Big Bang' AC 121 LITE and Markbass Pre had Headphone out/Aux in for recent products

I use PJB Big Head for practice; It is so small and light could bring to Gig; Setting EQ on amp with headphones at Gig has no value for me; warming up, maybe going through a new song for assurance Yes

I like PJB no plugging into wall, can be anywhere.

Of course if that feature is critical for you; You have all those other choices you mentioned other than the 'Dumb' MarkBass design:)

Markbass offers some other rare and super gig friendly options, like the four band EQ with points useful to me, plus the handy VLE. Their stubbornness in omitting aux in and heaphones, I do not get.

No, I was listing why the LM4 is a better buy in my opinion. Strange the Tuner out is deleted on the 58R, unless user feedback indicated it was not used? I very much doubt I'll ever buy another Markbass head; I'm fully stocked.

I keep seeing that cool picture reposted.... Maybe you should get ONE full 1000 Watt Markbass amp as well? ;)

Here, by popular demand I rectified them a bit.

Yes, I use that photo to remind myself how ridiculous it is. I've never run out of headroom with my 500 watt AB heads and have the 800 watt Momark if I ever thought I'd need a few more watts. Not wanting to start another controversy but the old 500 watt AB amps do punch more than the newer models in my experience. So I'm also hanging on to the two SA450 for stereo or dual mono into my two Bergantino HD210 cabs. If a v1 Ninja came up for sale at a really good price I could be tempted however.

Yes, up to a certain SPL, the Markbass AB amps have more extended lows, lower noise floor and more pleasing sound. However, with my power hungry cabs, the Ninja 1000 offers a level of effortless dynamics the LMII simply cannot touch, and Ninja 1000 retains its tone across the full SPL spectrum I can use.
For rock, the Ninja is a given, for more intimate settings, the LMII is more pleasing.

Not to bring this back up but…still baffled by their marketing and product names. Just saw another post on their Instagram about the new “game changing innovative cabs” hitting stores.
I’m still not sure what the big innovation and update is. Aside from the fact that the new “product” name is his age! 58. What does that have to do with anything? They had the huge build up and event unveiling the new products but nothing really tells me what’s so new!? They have so many heads now and the designs are all over the place. They need to just find a look and stick to it. Or just have one line for a while. That’s why I love my Aguilar gear. Consistent look. Simple and understated. Pretty much one head in different wattages.
“I’m putting my actual face as a logo on the front now!” Their graphic design is terrible. The new made in Italy badge is like something my 9 year old could make in Microsoft paint.
Like i said before, I like the products. Or at least the older heads. But I don’t understand their marketing and naming. Nothing actually pertains to their products. It just pertains to him! It’s weird. I love this bag for my LMII, but seriously?! This is what you plaster on it? “Mark World”? With a picture of yourself?!

I don't have a problem with the aesthetics or wide range of products but I agree about the strange Marco images all over the place.

The LittleMark ll/lll were straight forward.
I really like their look. The AG1000 is actually conservative in the "yellow" dept. Variety is the spice of life. I like the option of different models. Choose the one you like and be done, I say.
FWIW, I like the look of the new LM4 just fine.

Yeah, the LMIV is a little more subdued but he still managed to put himself on the front of it...TWICE! Just a cluster of type and logos.

And I went and looked at some of the MB58R pages. Just talked about how revoluntionary and innovative it is...but not why or anything about it. Because they move some inputs to the front? The video is bonkers. What does him playing bass with waves splashing around have to do with anything? It's the least informative product release I've ever seen.

And each cab size has a Pure, a P, and an Energy version. I guess the tweeters? It just all seems to make it so much more difficult than it needs to be. As a commercial photographer I deal with marketing/ad agencies and marketing people all the time. Some of the MB stuff just seems so weird to me! But I do love my LMII! Lol.

Maybe Marco is following Oscar Wilde's advice that:-
"There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about."

I say all this of course as he's selling a ton of stuff. It's great equipment. But I have heard a lot of people like me that think the stuff just looks terrible.
I took some of the obnoxious graphics off of the LMIV just to show a slightly cleaner version without all the pictures of his face and extra clutter all over it. And that amp has the least of it! Compared to the actual one I posted above...I'd happily rock this. Now change the bright yellow speakers too and I'd use those!

Yea, the Pure, P and Energy are a bit overboard. I have no idea what the sonic differences will be. Still, I'm always Interested in new gear and I'm waiting to see pricing and availability. The flip side of the coin is who else is stepping out with a completely new line that offers this kind of variety. I'd rather have more choices than less.
I was practicing with my Nanomark 300 today. Great compact head!
