Markbass TTE 500 Randy Johnson amp question

The amp is as awesome as the manual is lacking, especially given the interactive/passive EQ.

OP, the lights are normal. For an idea how the EQ works download Tone Stack Calculator and set it to "Marshall".

The amp also works with 1/4" out. An excellent feature, so if you're cab accepts 1/4" input (and all cabs should!) then you don't need as adaptor cable.

All the times I saw him play when I lived in Phoenix, I never knew he played bass!

Every tube or hybrid amp I have owned has nice warmth that one doesn't get from a solid state device.

The best mic preamp(decent cost, not top end) is the Blue Robbie...just one tube but a great tone.
Hey dog, was going to tell you to read the manual, but I restrained and checked it myself first. That is a really weak manual. Not a mention of the lights on the tubes. Not a mention of most anything. I tried to find something, but it looks like it's a secret what the lights do. I'm sure someone on here has some experience and will be able to help. But honestly, I really wanted to say "Hey dog" in a Randy Jackson thread. Heh.

Kudos for the "hey dog" post. Never got a manual with the amp but I looked it up online. As you said, terrible manual. MAde in Italy for Russians, I guess....lol.
