Markbass TTE500 VS Sansamp Driver for DI recording

hitting the studio this weekend and im thinking about what i want to use. I would be going DI with both options.

has anyone used any markbass heads DI'd for recording, how did they fair? how did well did it record?. I know the sansamp will sound great with little work needed, but i love the tone in getting from my markbass.

any ideas.?

Not sure if this is of any help, but here's my 2 cents.

A friend of mine plays the TTE 500 and is very happy. He's played Epifani, Hevos, Markbass F1, Gallien Kr., Mesa stuff, etc.
He also used his amp on a recording, but IDK wether DI or mic or both.

Whenever I hit the studio, I usually bring several amps (3-4) and DI boxes, so I have a lot of variety to choose from.
Checking a DI signal takes not more than a minute and one amp / DI box usually does the trick for me.
I have used the sansamp bass driver live and on recordings. Didn't like it in the studio to be honest.
A mix of one direct signal and one mic signal helps a lot as well as a good comp pedal IME.
