Marshall Amps

Love Marshall amps and the Marshall sound. I use a SLP 100 for rock band gigs. Wish I had a VB400 though. The 100 starts breaking up around halfway turned up. I will look into the JCM 800 cabinets. I am looking for a cabinet right now.

Marshall makes great guitar amps.

IMHO, Marshall used to make great guitar amps. Some of the newer stuff not so much, but maybe I'm jaded by all the guitards that turn 'em up to 11 and wouldn't know a "killer tone" if it snuck up and bit them on the butt!!!

What do you guys think of the JCM 800 bass series cabinet? If anyone has had the pleasure of playing this beast...
I found it for a pretty good price and I'm contemplating buying, it's listed as a 4 x 12 cabinet and yet when I look up reviews it's under 2 x 12. Strange?

Do you know the model number? Marshall made a few models of JCM 800 Bass Series 4x12 cabs.
