Marshall MB450H Question

Hello,

First off, apologies for another Marshall MB-series question, but I searched all of the other threads addressing Marshall MBs and couldn't find the answer to my question.

Anyone who has peeked around back of a MB450H or owns one, where are they made? The brochure says "Designed and Engineered in the UK", but I don't know if that means built in the U.K. or not.

Also, if anyone owns the 410 matching cab (MB410C maybe?), where is that one made as well?

I'm looking for something not made in China, as I've had very bad luck with my Ampeg BA115T combo that's made in China. I looked at an Ashdown ABM Evo III, but I contacted Ashdown support regarding where to buy one and they said they aren't making them for the US (the MAGs are made in China, I believe). And since I can't find an ABM Evo II around here, I thought I'd check out the Marshall and inquire about that.

Finally, if it isn't made in the UK but is made in China do you think it really matters as far as quality of the head and cab?

Many thanks!

I believe mine says that it is made in Vietnam. Personally I think the head sounds quite nice(if a bit scooped) and the cabinet seems sturdy. If the amp sounds good to you I wouldnt worry too much about where it is made. Of course this amp probably wont be as great as a Marshall VBA but it will still hold its own.

As far as I know both cab and head are made in India . The head is great for variety of sound . Build quality is so so my one had the cooling fan Disconnected hence it overheated and cut out when I first used it was easily fixed by a Tec though and since then has been fine .
