It honestly saved me from getting a GK amp just for that growl. The sound I wanted from the 700 or 800rb is easily produced from this pedal. Unfortunately I don’t see anything to replace my GAS for a Fender Super Bassman!

Super 300 into a Hotone OMNI IR set to SVT 8x10 good god holy cripes does it sound good. Thru my BB800 I feel like I'm at an arena. Just amazing.

I need to find a Hartke 4x10 IR to go with the Super 800.

Super subjective but I really love the GK tone (obviously with a bit of chorus) that Duff McKagan has on GnR albums. The sound I always picture is the opening line on “Right Next Door to Hell” and this pedal definitely got that tone and everything around it! I haven’t been able to really crank it yet, but I’m more than satisfied with what this pedal produces.

Yeah, settings always have to get reevaluated when adding more to the chain. Maybe that's part of the fun.

@Peaveylover Started the Super 300 Owners Society thread, but I feel Master Effects deserves its own general thread. Living in NYC, I often have to play through some crappy house amp, whether at a rehearsal space or a gig. I finally approached @Sensei Tim at Master Effects to make a preamp pedal of the GK 800RB tone section into a small enclosure because of my tiny pedal board, and he nailed it. I had it called the 800EH because 800RB and it's made in Canada, eh? The same pedal is available as the Super 800.

Nope. It started as a custom pedal for me and that's what I named it. Same thing as the Super 800.

Excuse my giddiness, I'm counting down the days till my Super 300 arrives.It finally hit the States so maybe I'm in the home stretch.
Now I start finagling a way to get the Super 800!

I’m interested in the Super 200. I have a Terror Bass of the current generation, and it’s fabulous. I’ve only seen one video of the Super 200, and it looks pretty cool. I think I would mostly use it when I’m not Using the Terror Bass.

I currently use the AMT 0 - Bass Brick, a take on that amp with a real tube.It is a tiny beast .That said I'm sure Tims' version is killer also.

I don't necessarily want to bug Tim about it directly, but I'm looking for some good demos of the ME bass preamps. I've gotten videos of the Super 300, Super 200, and Tim's SF72 video on Youtube, but I'm interested in hearing the sounds of the 800EH and the Monorail-- particularly the Monorail, because I can't even find any info about bassists who used the Monoblock II past some youtube videos, nor any particularly good-sounding demos of the amp itself.

I've found myself listening to a lot of DFA as of late, so the SF72 seems like a good choice to grab if I can.

I don't have a good recording setup - my Zoom is lost somewhere and I haven't replaced the stuff damaged by Ida yet so no USB interface. I'd be happy to post something recorded with my phone tho, but it will prob sound crappy. The Monorail sounds really good though. I find myself gravitating more to it than the 300 even.

These are all on my to-do list. I have pedals out for demos also but life always has a way of showing up and derailing things.
