Master of Puppets, help

Play a lot of chromatics and build up speed that way, it's not a hard song to play, it's just fast.

That section you're talking about gave me a lot of trouble at first too but once you get the muscle memory down in the fingering it's real easy, it flows nicely. Get the feeling of it down playing slow then build up to speed. Good luck, it's a fun tune.

Thank you everyone. This weekend I will rest (I work full time doing truck tire repair and retread, study Pai Lum Kung Fu, and Kajukenpo karate, and am on a fighting team for tournements), play my new fretless and, not at all in the least, practice the things you guys have suggested and do everything I can to improve my playing and speed.
again, thank you guys.

Master of Basses I'm plucking the strings!:D
:bassist: (really fast)

Its one of those songs that is a real hard one to get, but once you get it, it becaomes one of those songs that you cant stop playing, and eventually you end up being Cliff himself headbanging back in the late 80's with the rest of the band...well, in your head at least..hehe

if you think I was insulting you then you misunderstood. I know that I will never grow up (I'm a toys r us kid) I recently bought a collectors set of 5 replicas of original he-man figures. Thats the adult sounding way to say it. The other way: I just bought 5 heman toys for 70$. I love video games and still play with action figures and am planning to go buy some GI-Joes and probably a video game this weekend.
and now (just so you know) I want to play Kirby
