Thanks for sharing that! Huge fan of Jimmy Smith here. This album has long had a big influence on me, especially Wilton Felder's bass playing.

Her bass pedal solo was great. Don't think I could do that with my ten fingers let alone my two left feet.

This blows my mind! Thank you so much for posting this. Don’t know how I missed this amazing lady but I’m a fan now . I’ve already sent links to friends. Watched everything I could find on YT. Just wowed.

The bass lines only are enough to get top billing on TB. With her feet.

I fell in love with the B3 during the 70's especially after seeing ABB in a small theater in Long Island, NY. When synths like a used Korg M1 fell into my price range in the 90's I bought one hoping to have some fun filling in on keyboards. The piano sound worked for rock but the organs not so much. Later I bought a Voce Micro B but still didn't get the sound I sought.

Recently I purchased the GSI VB3 vst plugin (50 Euro). It is a modeling emulation (not a sampler) that really nails the sound. I'm controlling the drawbars with a Korg NanoKontrol2 (also assigned buttons to vibrato, chorus, percussion rockers and rotary speaker). It runs great in Cantabile Lite on an 8 year old dell laptop.
