Congratulations on your May Custom Pale Moon 6 stpvoodoo1! I personally know Shawn because he does all the work and set up on my basses. I have held and played a few of his basses and they are unbelievably high quality, playability and they sound incredible. I would love to have one of his basses one of these days. He's also happens to be a very nice guy and great bass player as well. Check him out when you get a chance at [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Wow! That's a remarkable instrument. Never heard of the builder before, but it looks like a top-notch bass.

Is that dark color on the fingerboard a different wood or a stain? And just what woods were used on the bass?

Here's the wood list:

Pale Moon Ebony Top/headstock lam and fingerboard with Gabon (black) ebony swirl/tail inlay

Purpleheart body and neck with flamed maple plys and ebony centerstripe

Ebony body accents all around.

And yes, Shawn is cool as a fan. Anyone who wants a May Custom, get your orders in soon!
