The UPS truck just dropped the 210MBE off. It looks pretty cool with the 210 combo sitting on top. Now I have to try it out. I thought I'd post a pic for you.

that doesnt sound too good. hopefully its just a defective cab. so far i love my 115mbe but we'll see how it really sounds tmrw if we get to play![]()
I got better sound plus a bigger sound with using just the combo.
That sounds like a classic phase issue. It's likely that either the extension cab is wired the reverse of the combo speakers or the speaker cable you are using is swapping the positive with the negative. You can check the wiring using a 9v battery. Just make sure the speakers in both cabs move the same way when you put the battery on the lead. Doesn't matter if they move in or out, just that they all move the same way. Be sure not to accidently swap the battery terminals around when you test.![]()

I think the problem is solved. I was using a speaker cable with two 1/4" jacks, using a Speakon adapter to connect into the combo. The guy checked out the adapter using a meter and the adapter was causing a phasing problem. He used a speaker cable that has a speakon on each end, no adapters, and the cab kicked in.
I won't get a chance to use it in a good surrounding until next weekend at the gig we're doing but I'm pretty sure it will be ok. We'll be playing outside so I'll be able to tell if the speakers are fine. As of now they seem to be all right...just a phasing problem.
I was looking but didn't find an answer at GK website or RMC . Does this 210 have the tweeter like the combo ?
