I got mine today, but what did anyone else who tried it think? If you've got a McD's close by, give it a try!


I'm assuming we'll get some Rick and Morty fans commenting here soon, but to summarize for non-R&M fans...

There was an episode where the main character had an opportunity to eat a McNugget sauce that McDonald's put out when Mulan (the Disney movie) came out. It was a marketing tie-in and the sauce was supposed to be great. In the fall season of 2017, they hinted at releasing it again and vastly underestimated demand (they had 4 or 5 McD's in Houston that got them, each store received only 10 sauce packets). The fan backlash was immense at how little they put out, so McDonald's swore to step up their game in 2018. So today they re-released it with proper amounts divvied out to the restaurants.

I knew this was gonna be about R&M the instant I saw the title.

Maybe you should come visit Europe once in a while - the Land of Grey and Pink where Szechuan sauce never left the menu and Mc Ribs are available all day every day.

(And D.va with a playstation controller must be the most ironic thing ever)

I've been to London and Prague before, wanted to visit several more places, but a hop across the pond gets pricey!! :crying:

I'm sure if I visited Germany I'd never be able to eat regular American pretzels, sauerkraut, or drink beer again lol

Undoubtedly, but this is overwhelmingly a curiosity-based fiasco for most folks. I was not in the group that camped out and went keyboard warrior on McDonald's Twitter page, but it was interesting enough to pique my curiosity since they had it in plentiful supply today...all I had to do was ask for it.

I'm withholding my opinion until the poll results are in, interested to see what the consensus is.

Not alternating mind you - it was served in copious amounts as a blend. Evidently called "Black Velvet."

Ah, but you can make all three of those. The good way. :thumbsup: Then you can have the good schtuff, even in America. Sauerkraut is probably the easiest of the three. Salt, cabbage, weight it down, preferably keep it airlocked (avoids all the mold-scraping the open crock method needs due to air exposure.)

As for Euro-McDeaths, that's kinda the last place I'm likely to eat when travelling.
