ME-50B video demo

...There's an 'overdrive' effect, which sounds really nothing like overdrive. This confused me until I looked up the manual and it said 'modelled on odb-3'. That explained it all :p
...
See?? Now there-ya-go: Us ODB-guys, as well as the creators of the ME-50B, know that there's that certain not-so-distorted O.D. sound that you can only get with the ODB - or maybe a well-modelled one.

Regarding the video,

ca 2:50 into it, the guy playing states "its got some really nice
delays" and continues to play some appegios (do you call it that?)
to demo the delay.

Can anyone tell me though how the delay is used to contribute in what he's playing ?
(maybe I'm just stupid but it sounds more like an octave up to me??? )

So now does anyone know oif the FS-6 works for bank-up/down shifting with the ME50-b ???

Yes. I talked to a rep at Boss. Apparently it works as bank up and down while in memory mode. When it's not in memory mode, one pedal can be used to turn the compressor on/off, the other pedal for tap tempo.

I had the ME 50B for a couple of weeks -- great pedal, but it didn't do everything I wanted it to do. BUT I think the Delay/Chorus/Phaser/Reverb section was the best effect section on this pedal. Granted I don't have the delay pedal experience that some people in this forum do, but the ME 50B handles delay very nicely.

Yeah, but why did someone bump a 4 year old dead thread? Couldnt a new one had been started? :eyebrow:

'Cause the guy did a "search" as we are all asked to do HELLO !
Why not -That's what we're supposed to do on here. Great looking back over what was then and is now.
I was only saying the other day in a GT6-B post that we don't see enough multi-board posts on this forum. There is a short fall by Boss here in my opinion since after the ME50-B came the ME20-B & it has the same problem, you can't have Reverb & Chorus as seperates. Come on Boss, are you going to fix it on the Boss ME70-"B" You know we want it ! The me70-"B" that is. Anyone got any insight if there is going to be such a pedal available ? :rollno: OR :hmm:
