You know what's really cool? Every once in a while, after I've had a rough time, this thread pops back to life. I haven't been around TB for awhile, no time, but this thread lets me know that people really do care, and that acts of kindness can, and do, touch people.
This is just sweet. I will def keep her in my thoughts.
About basses-- I have an old Eko bass (Hoeffner copy), very light, and has a tiny neck for small hands. You can usually find them used pretty cheap. Another bonus-- it's a hollow body-- so you don't always *have* to have an amp to practice.
