Nothing tricky about it. The Key signature is 3 flats (Cm = Eb Major). Accidentals are used to raise the 6th and 7th degrees:

I think you missed the joke... Anyway, I don't think about melodic minor in that way for very long, because it doesn't help me execute my ideas. That's just a mental construct. Understanding things intellectually is important but that's the easy part. The execution is the trick.
