Mesa 400 vs 400+

So a 400 has come up for sale near me...

I'm sure i'll kick myself once i'm told, but can someone reiterate the difference(s)?

I've read somewhere they take a single 8 Ohm cab, is this fact or fiction?

Anyone have a manual on file or a link as well since Mesa only has the 400+ on their site?

The main difference is that the 400+ power section uses 12 6L6s, and the 400 power section uses 6 6550s. Most 400+s had a 7 band graphic eq, 400s had a 6 band.
