anyone tried/own one of these yet? they seem to have alot of great features. i'm currently running a svt 2pro would it be worth the switch?

There are a few threads on this amp. Search Prodigy and/or Strategy. You'll find plenty of info on both models.

yep. quite a few Prodigy owners as these amps came out first. There are now a couple of Strategy owners popping up in the Prodigy Strategy thread since these mighty 465w tube amps finally hit the open market.

second question, and i may or may not catch flack for this but it is was it is. i thought i read somewhere about a rackmount version, is this true? if so im going to be out about $2500 soon

Yes, there is a rackmount Strategy
