I see what you're saying...

Yeah, I think I even have too much for what I've been up to lately, amp-wise. I'm not even in a real gigging/recording band at the moment, and unfortunately in order to join a viable band I'd need to make 2-3 hour round trips into Detriot or Ann Arbor, MI :( So it's been a lot of solo work and going to school. But on said solo work.... the bass is certainly noticeable!

I feel ya threre. I've got a practically brand new Avatar 410 sitting in the garage covered up, a Carvin R1000 that's boxed up, and my main bass (Schecter custom 5) is in it's case under the bed. I've been bandless for a while since the baby and new job take up all my time. All I've been doing is noodling around with my Ibanez and a direct line from it into my soundcard.

Please sign me up.Even though it's hard to see it's my Mesa Venture with 212's.

Hello all, just recently returning to TB after a long time away..

I've been doing the cover-band thing and switched to just playing direct, shelving the M-Pulse 600, mostly due to weight but also from a crappy high-end from my ancient SWR Goliath III cabinet. From a little reading, looks like this is not a good pairing so my question to you all is: I need a good cabinet for all around variety music (typical cover band bull), doesn't weigh a ton, and can take a beating.

I'm leaning towards a 2x12, but the thought of a 2x10 and 1x15 is tempting so I have some options.

Got a somewhat local deal willing to sell me a powerhouse 1000 for $600. I REALLY want to go light and portable, but the thought of some femur shattering brown-noise is really tempting..

I've got horrible GAS, but don't know what I really want. I've got my Trace Head and my Mesa on the FT chopping block. I've had tons of interest in my M-Pulse, which makes me think that I should hold on to it.
