I want to list them in the classifieds for a decent price and can't find them listed on their web site, nor can I bear the thought of being put on hold for as long as it took to order them.

Cool. The more cab design moves forward, the more options we have to gig the WA without moving 100+ lbs of cabs. How much does the TC212 weigh? Do you think you'll have the required headroom? The Arnopol composite bassic 15 is about 20 lbs and the 12 will be under that, for a total of under 40 lbs for the stack. Happy times :-)

Too late. Well, not really, if he wants to keep it I'd be OK with it. Just don't cash the check.:)

I'm looking forward to trying it out with the SVT210s and TC15. I'm really happy with the tonehammer 500 through the ampegs but want to have another amp as a backup and different flavor. Hope they're different enough.

1 S12 and 1 S15 = Walkbout love. The 12 alone w/ my Clevenger, the 15 alone with most of my gigs these days.

I a/b'd them, it is shocking...
can't understand why mesa doesn't address this?
Only noise now is from the air through the sink and chassis,
I can't really hear the fan at all.
To be fair, I guess I could see the mesa stock fan lasting much longer, it seems much more robust in design.
Guess i'll find out....

I have the stock Mesa fan still, on my 6 yr old WA. Been using this amp with a DB112nt for at home practice, and even at home volume levels, the fan noise is, and has never been, an issue for me. I mean, I get it, there's a noise, but if you're actually playing the bass guitar, what's the problem? The noise is only audible when you're NOT playing.

The Silenx does 33cfm, anyone know the stock fan rating?
For me, the fan noise mostly became an issue when recording,
resulting in getting a long speaker cable and putting the amp elsewhere.
There have also been some performance situations
(where acoustic instruments were involved) that I found the noise from the amp annoying during rests- it's the noise when not playing that was bothersome,
absolutely. I don't necessarily play through entire pieces...
in rock bands live, it was a non issue for sure.
