Mesa Boogie Walkabout Mega-thread Pt. Tres

I've been garage-banding with smallish combos since 1969. Most of the time bought whatever was cheapest/used/available while playing in small town bar bands. I thought about buying a Walkabout for over a year -- I'm such a tightwad. Finally I sprung for a used WA Scout, and man it's a revelation. It's opened my eyes to what I've been missing for --what is it -- over 40 years?! (Jeez, that's a creepy thought.)

Anyhow, the Walkabout is the first amp I've ever had that sounded like what I'd wished to sound like. G.A.S. being what it is, I'm hoping the WA isn't just a gateway drug, and now I'll be after bigger and better... Probably not. I'm happy.

The WA is the amp that ended my amp GAS. If I bought another amp I'd need to sell my WA - and in OZ they're EXTREMELY hard to come by.
