So I'm looking at the Walkabout head and I'm seeing this M3 head showing up. Does anyone know if this is going to replace teh walkabout head? Just curious.

Can't see that as a reasonable marketing strategy for Mesa.

No, they are not replacing the Walkabout with the M3. They are distinct product lines.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping that was the case!! Dogbass, if I had a nickel for all the boneheaded marketing moves that companies have made, well I'd have alot of nickels. I asked here b/c I knew you guys would know right off!

NOLA, the M3/6/9 are a very different thing.

Much cleaner, faster, more articulate, and much less tubey.

Two items shipped today as part of trades! I've got a Walkabout coming as well as a G&L US JB fretless. Can't wait to get both and take the Walkabout to rehearsal (the fretless is going to require some woodshedding on my part, 1st fretless)!

Just got your Walkabout on the way- you will love it! G&L + Walkabout is magical (even if the JB isn't the most G&L of the G&Ls!)

What do you guys use to convert your combo cabs to a regular 1/4 plug instead on the cable coming out of the cab? Is there a particular 1/4 socket that works best, or an extension plug? I'm thinking about putting my Eden CX 110 on top of my combo cab.

I recently bought a Scout cab from bb03, and he'd solved the problem this way: a female/female 1/4 adapter. It was nice of him to include it with the cab -- thanks, bb03!

Not me, but I'm in on the last page. Good spot to re-tell my joy with the Aggie DB112/Walkabout pairing, using the sweet MoPho synth, instead of bass. Having the good times.

I use it for electric.

The only thing I wish was it was 900 watts instead of 300...
