Sweet. IME, to play a loudish bar without PA using my WA and have some headroom, I need a 212/112 stack, so the 410 will get you there nicely.

I finally started experimenting with my Walkabout head with other cabs... so far I'd only used it in the scout stack. With my sealed 610 this thing is a monster! I used to think my 610 was especially dark (due to no tweeter, sealed cab design, etc), but I'm thinking it was my Ashdown head that was sounding muted now... with the Walkabout, this cab really came to life. For my pickstyle rock stuff I was getting this crushing SVT vibe... 300 watts really is MORE THAN ENEOUGH wattage if you've got a tower of speakers behind you. Good to know!

Think I'll take the WA along to practice at our rental space tomorrow, plug in through the old Ampeg 810 they've got there. With my new ESP/LTD Surveyor in tow I expect to get some pretty powerful rock tones...

Yeterday I played in a loud pub without PA with 4x10, gain at 12 and master at 9 o'clock... they told me I was too loud!!! XD

Someone can tell me where can I find a walkabout gigbag (mesa online shop send only in USA)?
I send an email to Italian importer and answer me 99€ (135$) and 24 weeks from order!!!

One note with the Mesa bag:
The amp is a *very tight* fit, unless they've changed something.

I have one, I use it to carry cables and such, and keep the head in a Mesa headcase.

I used my walkabout with a Neox212 yesterday at an outdoor gig with no PA support for the bass and we were heard over 300 yards away. The people said they could hear everything cleary and the band sounded good. Yet, there were people dancing and listening just in front too. So, it wasn't crazy loud. It was at a shopping center with the sound going over a parking lot of cars and trees etc. My gain was at 1 oclock and volume at 10 oclock. I guess my point is that the Walkabout through a 2x12 is capable of things that some people would say you need alot more speakers for. That's good to know, because I wouldn't have thought 2 12's could project that far and it is a good reference point for people wanting to know just how well their rig can perform. I won't ever have any doubts about my rig anytime soon. :)

300w is heaps if you got plenty of speakers or spkr area.
The WA thru a 215 is a thing of loud beauty!

The Walkabout head with my three weeks new GB NeoX 212T is a great rig. I used the Berg HS410 before (now it resides in the rehearsal room) but for last six outdoor gigs with or without PA support I used the NeoX 212 - what a difference in uniform spread of sound across the stage and in audience this cab makes! Great warm and clear presence everywhere. Me and my bandmates love it.

Definitely loud enough for outdoor gig without PA support.

It's not a dis, just a note...

Well, I guess it's kind of a dis;)
If they made it just a teeny bit bigger inside, I believe it would work out nicer.
