Thanx too Chef. Rear cover's fine, I actually heard this after I took the Walkabout OUT of the combo.
Sounds like a nut/screw is rolling around about where the passive driver is...

The Mesa bag fits so tightly that you have to clutch the bag between your knees as you pull out the head, and makes it harder than it should be to put the head into it. Bad design IMHO. IME the best fit is the medium Gigskinz bag from MuFr, but it's around 90 bucks. Whatever you choose, be aware the head is just over 4" thick, making many laptop cases too narrow. Having said that, the Mesa bag looks cool and is great for cables, or taking a snack to the gig
I have one of the Mesa bags.
It carries an F1, MB-Fusion or MB800 beautifully; along with cables and a chart book.
Or a snack. It might be able to keep burritos warm for a long time, but I haven't tested that theory.

Ok, I for one am happy with the Mesa bag. You have to be quite inventive to find the way of unloading and loading the Walkabout into it.
My way:
Removing the amp
- open the lid, expose the rack ears, and hold the amp by its ears
- step with your foot to the middle of the bag arm strap to keep the strap on the ground
- pull the amp out of the bag
Inserting the amp
- put the amp on the cab standing on its ears with knobs facing down, fan side facing up (well, now you have to be careful, preferably sober...)
- wear the bag onto the amp like.. erm.. you know...
- with half of the bag put on it, turn whole set upside down and the amp slides in.
Looks complicated, but its a breeze, takes couple of seconds

Last night I plugged my WA into my TB153 and it sounded great. Much deeper and clearer than the scout. I plan on using the tb153 for a gig tomorrow night where I would normally take my WA Scout.
Took my WA Scout to rehearsal last night, the 112 held up great with two guitarists and a loud drummer. The only time it struggled was with the low B, so I dialed back the bass just a tad and that helped. Other than this the tone was nice and warm just like I'd hoped and I never felt like I lacked enough volume to keep up. Very happy.

This may be a bit of the TMI Effect, but I have, for whatever reasons the Universe has decided, dropped my WA15 combo, twice in the last two months. Well, I lost my grip on it actually. Both times it was from about chest level. The first time it landed on the side. The second time it landed totally upside-down (on the amp). I have to hand it to Mesa for making a really tough product as I can find no damage to either the cab or amp. I also have a new appreciation for that thick top handle.
+1, I use a li'l fold up dolly even for my Walkabout 12".

You need a dolly
He shouldn't need a dolly. IMO both of the combos (12 and 15) should come with 2 side handles. The lone top handle on the 65lb 15 is a bad joke, and the one on the 12 is also poorly thought out. If you have to carry either for more than a minute or 2, a pair of side handles would be an obvious upgrade. Of course they CAN be carried in one hand, but it's MUCH easier to carry them with 2. They can leave the pretty leather top handle there if they like, and just add the metal flip outs to the sides. Are you listening, Mesa???????
The WA 12 is light enough for the top handle but it's cube shape is still awkward if you have to carry it very far, bouncing against your leg. Side handles would help, and on the 15 I would think would be essential.
