Is that the impedance (DC resistance) you've measured? If so then that is a 8 ohm cab.

Where did you get that 5.33 Number?
From a meter testing the cab itself?
What cab is it?
How many speakers?

It is not its a 6x10 Cab with 8ohm speakers that are wired into 3 groups of 2 speakers in series.
I recommend using the 4 ohm position on the amp.
You're good. Solid state amps don't care if it's 4ohm or 100ohm. As long as you're above the minimum.It is a 6x10 cab I replaced the speakers on- it was very hard to source the odd impedance ones required to get a normal end result- so it is 8 ohm speakers wired in series parallel- (3 groups of 2 speakers in series) I get 5.33 ohm by dividing the impedance of each group (16) by the number of groups (3).
I would not risk running it at 8 Ohms. If your info is accurate, run it at 2 or 4 Ohms.Then it's a 5.3 ohm cab like you already mentioned in the title.
Did you try it at 4 and 8 ohms? Which sounded better?
Yes, somewhere around 600 watts.Epifani 310T cab is 5.3 ohms/750 watts. Found a used one for $350, might use it with a 800+
Is the power rating between the 800 watts at 4 ohms and 400 watts at 8 ohms?
