I just want to see peoples opinions about mesa cabs vs david eden cabs whats the pros and cons of both and which one comes off best...

Mesa vs David

Just search all the threads about Mesa cabinets and the threads about Eden cabinets.
which cabs? which heads? what style of music? a bit more info would make this easier to discuss since both companies have such a large variety of product out there.

I don?t see much of a point in comparisson of the two since they?re quite different cabs!
It mostly depends on what you?re looking for!
I find the mesa cabs to personaly have better construction and a clearer sound altogether, but you also can?t deny eden cabs for huge low end and getting a warm sound!

and will be buying more in the year year to come.
I'm not one who bashes other companies, so you wont hear that from me(i had some bad things happen)
I think that when you are looking for HIGH END GEAR,search EVERYTHING,hook up to the forums (if they have one) and READ everything about what the other people are going through with there gear(like eden,mesa) or what other company you may concider, then, try to FIND the products and try them(if you can,or go see other bands and listen to there gear,before you do,or buy anything, i had many kinds of amps,(never a mesa) but i would like to hear one, but, i have heard if you like a gritty dirty type sound in your music then thats the badboys you want,I don't really care to much for ampeg,to muddy for me(pleas dont get mad) its not for me,Howevere i would LOVE to get my hands on the b15 or the r version,I think that was the best ampeg makes,imop
as for EDEN,NO, nothing is perfect,and they like others have there problems,but , i LOVE the sound I get from my gear,solid ,clear,and loud, they are made good too,and the guys on the forum very helpful in the X pear e ANCE they have with that product,so, when /if you buy one ,you know most of the pros and con,and given that,we still buy them,what I'm saying TRY the product(if you can) see how the company treats you AFTER you bought your gear,then make your pick,I'm SURE MESA is a great amp, GOOD LUCK

+1. I recently spent some time with both the newest Mesa 115 cab, and the 410. REALLY nice cabs... smooth, full, punchy and efficient, and the new switchable crossover was very nice... changed the top end from 'modern slap' friendly to more grindy upper mid... nice.
That being said, they are BIG (the cabs are really deep... you would need a van or SUV for the larger ones), and REALLY heavy.
The larger Eden cabs are classic. I personally really like the 212XLT... all the warm Eden punchy, but not as 'humped' as the classic 410XLT. The 410XST is great, and quite frankly, sounds relatively similar to the Mesa410, but again is heavy as a horse.
Those are the only versions I've spent time with recently. Both great. If you are not weight nor size sensitive, the larger Mesa cabs KILL IMO.
To make things even more complicated, for a while years ago when Mesa made their "Diesel" line of cabinets (Better sounding than today's to some people, myself included, though that's just opinion) they used Eden 10" speakers.
