Carey Nordstrand posted something on his Instagram page back in April about her playing the bass.

Apparently someone sent him a iPhone photo of her playing the Cat at show all night. Carey was surprised about this, so it looks like she just bought the bass retail and that there’s no formal Nordstrand/Meshell arrangement.
