Dick Lövgren of Meshuggah has one of the most monstrous bass tones I've ever heard. A quick search for "Meshuggah drum and bass solo" on YouTube will give you a good idea, methinks. I freaked out when I saw it some years ago.


Yeah, Dick is an amazing player. His groove with Tomas Haake is peerless IMO.

I know which clip you mean, and I've posted it here several times in attempt to spread the love.

Ok so I have been trying to reproduce Peter Steele ( type o negative) bass tone for quite some time now, more specifically his tone from symphony for the devil, I have the ds1, ch1, and dd3 but I know there is something im missing, please
