Both those videos were recorded in my hometown of Rochester, NY in 1981.

Why they picked Rochester..... I don't know. I do remember seeing them on late night TV right after they were shot..... and if you search YouTube, you should also find a video of "Mr. Crowley" from the same session.

Keep er' up!!

So last night I went to a charity event where a bunch of bands from So Cal get together and play tributes to DimeBag and now Vinnie

It was a mix and match of guys on stage that just got up there and ripped old Pantera and Damage Plan songs.....I got to say it was one of the best shows I've been to all year......fun, fun :)

Hey just found this club Mr Legba.
I also do the metal, among other things. My older brother sent me down this road proper like, starting with Black Sabbath Paranoid when it hit. I've been into it ever since. Was fortunate enough to see Ozzy with Randy on the Diary of a Madman tour. I saw most every Pantera & Damage Plan tour there was. RIP! All kinds of stuff in between. Even have a couple songs I cowrote with my older brother when he was working with Randy Piper. (formally of WASP) It's a cool feather in my cap, but there is a reason Randy was booted out of WASP.
I'm not on the recordings, just helped write em.
Presently in a plain old rock band, hoping to get a second thing going to address my harder side.

Thanks, always enjoyed what you've had to say here as well. As with this post and many others, we seem to share a common vision about stuff.
Here's a song I wrote the lyrics for and some of the music with my brother. He ended up using it for Piper's band Animal.
