Call me a tab Nazi if you wish, but I have to put my two cents worth in. You talk about Tabs and standard notation as if they are the only way to learn songs. They are not. Try learning by ear. It is free, it works for every song, and it makes you a better musician, and one that isn't dependant on whether or not there are tabs or transcriptions to a particular song. I can learn ANY song, in any style, by any atrtist, even artists that are too unknown to have any tabs or notation available. Give it a try, you can do it.
