Im only begginjbg in woodwork/lutherie but as a total & permanent disabled vet we are being encouraged to start small businesses, start as a trainee or whatever, the shop gets paid by the VA then they can join forces with the vet allowing then full advantage of preference govt contracting or just take the money for being the vets education. I say this cause maybe there’s a luthier or just a woodworker that has much exp but never had the means to get their hands on some equipment that the VA will help purchase.
all this comes back round to the fact that I (like everyone else) thinks I’ve got the bithin-est design ideas, no one’s ever dreamed up, & there will be many many full scale basses that will not even hace the option of any rock machine longer than 33.99999inches lol ok 32” max. I kid of course, they will all have an option of scale length & standard or reverse headstock. Something similar to the amped pu tracks but for the bridges so that whichever scale is desired is avail. The Meteora body is just killer so, I’m wanting to put together a few designs of that & I love the guild s400s from the 70’s for Instance, something along those lines to start. I suppose I’m just thinking out Loud but I have seen these mock ups & wondered what programs were used, I’ve got access to pretty much all the autodesk family free as a student but those programs take up literally an entire 500g drive & nit sure now but several years ago I had to have two r290xs 13”long cards In my Machibe to run it, I’m sure there’s a simple app nowdays if anyone could point me I’d be quite obliged.
