This one has been posted already, but I will share it again. I am looking forward to a comparison between these Roger Sadowsky Design basses and the Sire V7 and P7.
I would buy one of these over the Sire P. Looks better. The Sire preamp sounds a bit conjested to my ears .
At $833 on the Thomann USA site, I may get just to say I finally bought a Sadowsky.

Beautiful bass. That logo reminds me of the Ken Smith Design logo.
I guess I’m just a fan of the more organic Fender passive tones. But I bet that bass sounds great in a dense urban gospel mix.

I love Sadowsky necks. Getting that profile on a cheaper bass sounds like great deal to me.
Do you know if the jazz has 60’s or 70’s pickup placement?

Sadowskys are in the Sixties position unless otherwise stated.
I listened to the first video I posted again. It sounds like a Sadowsky to me and that is the neck profile I love. I wish these had come out a year earlier, but I may find a way to get one regardless.

do it doc, sell the other jazz basses you have and get a sadowsky So you can have your dream bass and enjoy playing.
I think those are the old, Japanese shop made MetroExpress basses. They are $1,975-2,175, I think. The bass I am posting about is properly a Roger Sadowsky Design bass, and are produced in Warwick’s Chinese factory.
I'm with you, a Sadowsky might be in my future.

you could sell everything you have sans the pedulla and end up with a MIJ metroexpress or MIJ Metro i bet. get the sadowsky man, you only live once.
I’m not interested in spending that much money on a bass anymore. I also think my American Geddy Lee is the best passive four string money can buy. I would not let it got a Sadowsky. The Chinese version will enough for me, judging from the video.
