    Specs:

    36" - 34" Stainless Steel fanned fret 5 string
    EMG "P" and "J" soapbar casing
    EMG 2 band preamp
    Hipshot individual bridges
    Gotah tuners

    Woods:
    Paulo Escrito top and back with maple accent lines
    Bubinga core , arched top and back ( aka warwick )

    Neck
    Wenge,maple, coco bolo.


    All i can say it plays amazing. If your looking into a custom, check out michael dolan, amazing work, amazing guy to work with !!

    I am a fan of Dolan's work for sure. In fact I literally just minutes ago sent him another email about a project he's working on for me. Good stuff there!

    hes a great guy, luckily for me, i live 15 min from his shop : ) i got to see this baby start from raw wood and go all threw the process

    Out of curiosity, why did you put the PJ pickups in soap bars?

    Actually its tuned E to C : )

    I went with soap bars because i was originaly going to go with Q tuner pups, then DC's, then settled on pjs. Really its just incase if feel like switching the pups, no additional routing has to be done.

    yea, now i just need him to build me one i wouldnt be scared to bring in public.

    I think if this thing got banged up or stolen I would have a serious break down.

    First off, you got to go all THROUGH the process, not "threw".

    AMAZING bass! It's odd but I love it!

    I've never been a big fan of single-cutaway basses.Most of'em look like a hump-back whale.Scratch that for this one.AWESOME!!!Fanned frets??Get outta here!!Lovem'!

    to put all the questions in one post

    It weighs...well quite a bit, Bubinga and wenge is no fun, id say around 12 lbds

    as far as cost. A lot less then you would think, but I supplied the body template, top woods, tuners, and other random stuff, in addition to the guy has been doing setup/repair work for me since i started playing. PM me if you want more details.Best thing, call him up and have it quoted out!


    Ill try to get some sound clips up of it. My playing level needs to raise to the bar of this bass though!
