Michael Henderson bass tone appreciation

This conversation is clearly full of my people.

I've been doing an improvisational psychedelic live ambient project with a keyboard player for the last year+. His influences are his influences - my influences are "the MH era of Miles", Bill Laswell, and 1971-1972 Weather Report. I got into Fusion because of Jaco and Stanley Clarke, but "On the Corner" and the Cellar Door Sessions were the point where I found what I'd been looking for in the first place.

Laswell is one of my biggest influences, I have a shelf of CDs of just his projects. Everyone on your list is never far from my playlists.
