Michael Jackson in trouble AGAIN...anyone else surprised?

In November of 2002, Paul Reubens (Pee-wee Herman) was charged with misdemeanor possession of kiddie porn.

Jeffrey Jones (Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Beetlejuice) was also busted in November of 2002, for hiring a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit photos. He was also charged with misdemeanor possession of child porn. Apparently, Reubens and Jones are acquaintences and both arrests came out of the same investigation.

:(

I think there's too much weird stuff going on in this family and Michael Jackson is just a target of convenience.

From this link

The 13-year-old boy's father was arrested last year on a variety of child abuse charges, including counts alleging that the man, a 37-year-old supermarket employee, may have "endangered" his son's health through "cruel and inhuman corporal punishment" that resulted in "a traumatic condition." The boy's father pleaded no contest last year to a single misdemeanor charge of willful cruelty to a child (he finished a court-ordered parenting class, according to a January 2003 court progress report). Below you'll find the misdemeanor complaint filed against the man, whose name (and those of his children) we've redacted to protect the identity of Jackson's alleged victim

I just think its funny how some of yal don't want to look at all sides. Just because you see a Law office's "Testimony" that is supposeedly from the 13 year old in '93 does not make any of it true.

No one knows what michael was thinking when he agreed to a settlement. He may have thought, "I don't want to deal with this for months upon months and be scrutinized by the public for alligations that are false.". Maybe Michael thought, "I don't want what I've done to this child to get out into the public".

But I also believe that the parent who made that allegation at the time should also be questioned.
Why would a parent just go for a Civil Suit instead of filing Criminal Charges and folloing thru with the D.A. If what the parent had said was true, then Michael could have possibly gone to jail and the parent would still have the oppurtunity to File a Civil Suit(and sue for money) after the criminal trial..

No one knows if Michael Jackson is Innocent or guilty but we shouldn't rush to portray him as a molestor.Hes giving Millions to Charities world wide and he never once stated, as all the news channels say he did, that he enjoyed sleeping with children. Michael stated that many children sleep in his bad, but everyone thinks of it in a sexual way and its not sexual.

I can almost Guarantee that everytime you see someone "Quote" him, they will say skip the part about it NOT being sexual.. Just because he gives to Charities and says its not sexual doesn't mean he doesn't still do sexual things with children, but my Point is give him his dues and Quote him entirely. Don't just try to make him seem bad.

What I think would suck is if he gives MILLIONS to charaties, allows children to sleep in his bed(not in a sexual way), but everyone attacks him cause they don't agree with him changing his face(horribly disfiguring), and they don't agree with his feelings(not sexual) and affection for children. Obviously I hope hes innocent but only TIME will tell.
Check This out, most notably Page 3. Read the written Words :( :bassist:

It was also said on cable news that the divorced couple was bankrupt and both parents had fallen on hard times! I guess that would be millions of reasons for this fiasco. The news say they are not asking for money, Ha! not yet anyway. It's like Kobe Bryant's accuser is not asking for money but you know it's coming! They want Kobe to take a hiv test, does she have something we don't know about? Is that why she tried to kill herself twice at 18 years of age? Does that have anything to do with the different men they say she slept with? What I am trying to say is you never know peoples motives and it's easy to judge a person that's in the spotlight. Some people work hard for wealth and fame, others seek oportunities in people who let their guards down. Yeah Mike is REAL WEIRD but I think these people see an opportunity for a giant pay day. What does'nt come out in the wash will come out in the rinse!

You should start reading/watching more than Fox and CNN...they are really hesitant to feature unfavorable news concerning the Bush administration.

You need to watch more CNN. Just because they do not do 24/7 negative coverage of President Bush does'nt mean that there is no negative coverage.
Fox, on the other hand does tend to lob soft balls at Bush the same way CNN lobbed soft balls at Clinton.

I find it curious that you are willing to give MJ the benifit of the doubt before you have heard any evidence. I don't suggest rushing to judgement or convicting him unfairly but lets get something straight; Micheal Jackson is responsible for and has created his own problems. I hope the allegations are not true.

IF michael did not molest this Child then how has michael created his Own Problems? Is it because most people have a view that a grown man with enough money to take care of himself without having to work should not spend time with children? IF he has not commited any crimes, then why judge him so harshly?

IF MJ has done nothing wrong then I can not see how we can say he created his own problem. The only Problem that I can see is his Face is Tore up from the floor up, but thats him not me.. My view is that I'm a grown person and in my eyes I cannot afford to act or spend mutlitudes of time with any child, but Michael can..

I too hope MJ did not do any of these things and hopefully will stop hanging with these children as much so he doesn't have any problems in the future. I still cannot say that he caused these problems himself just because he hangs out with children as long as he has done no wrong to them....

What I find interesting is his 3 million dollar bail and his passport being taken for alleged child abuse, and that in itself suck's (the child abuse part) but Phil Spector's bail for murder was a whole lot less and he has the same financial means as Micheal and would seem to be more of a flight risk! Micheal has a jacket for child molestation not a conviction(we dont know if he did it or not), on the other hand Phil Spector will most likely be convicted. something stinks here.

I don't thnk MJ would run, but I believe that at some point that should probably take his Passport. Closer to the time of trial which I believe will be around 45 days from now(??) would have been better...Anyway, MJ can request for his Passport to be giving back if he needs to travel out of Country.

The tide seems to be turning on the MJ case. It seems the jet company will now be sued for filming and invading Mike's privacy. The mother AND son have video taped a message stating nothing happened and Mike was no less than a role model. Those who convicted Mike before the trial should take this aweful media thing to heart.

Yep. Like I said when this thread was started, 'innocent until proven guilty'.

People are too quick to convict somebody the minute a story comes out. And the media shares plenty of blame in these types of situations.

As far as Fox is concerned, it depends on what program you're watching. If you're watching Special Report, The Big Story, or On The Record, its pretty fair and balanced, whereas The O'Reilly Factor and Hannity & Colmes are both pretty biased (although I love the factor)

That's what "innocent until proven guilty" means, last I heard. In fact, it also means you are supposed to give the accused the benefit of the doubt (if any reasonable doubt exists) even *after* you have heard the evidence. Hence the expression "beyond a reasonable doubt." If a reasonable doubt exists, you give the benefit of that doubt to the accused.
