MIJ hybrid 50’s precision worth it?

Hey guys, I’m in the market for a new precision.
After initially deciding on the new vintera 50’s, I played one today and found the thicker neck profile to be moderately uncomfortable, as well as not being a huge fan of the lacquer. My second choice was the player series precision in buttercream, but I’m more inclined to get something from a higher range whilst I have the money to spend.

Anyhow, I’m now considering one of the MIJ hybrids in off white blonde, but can’t find anything regarding the sound quality or playability online. If anyone has one, would you recommend? Should I settle for a player series, or is it worth the extra 300?

I recently bought one because I love "soft v"/u necks as opposed to "modern C", D, or C to D hybrid neck profiles and it was described as a U neck on reverb. That's exactly what it was. BTW, the neck finish was satin smooth like the new MIA Professional series. If you don't like the chunky C of the Vintera 50s P bass, I doubt you'll like the MIJ Hybrid.

Sound wise, it's pretty average and I'm going change out the PU with an SD Antiquity II. I have one in my MIM 50s P bass and the sound is better for me.
