There is a video on youtube of their full set at Maquinarial in 2011. It has some really good stuff on it I think.

I agree. I think Degradation Trip has some great songs on it.

Boggy Depot has some great tunes on it as well. My band covers "Cut You In". We also cover " I Don't Know Anything" from the lone Mad Season album.
I have traveled as far as Indianapolis to see them. Also Kansas City twice and at least 2 times here in STL. They did a limited engagement called " The Acoustic Hour", which is probably the best live show I have ever seen.
I dig Mike Inez and I think he has awesome tone live, but I'm more of a Mike Starr fan.

They could have been dummy cabs that simply looked symmetrical when stacked that way -- keeping the same proportions of Jerry's Bogners (which also didn't seem to have a head atop them). I could image that the producers on Kimmel go for a certain look for filming, and perhaps that's what was chosen since EIMs and DI could take care of everything else.
Stage cabs are props. They run iso-cabs off stage. Saw them twice here in MN. I asked the sound man at the board at First ave. He told me this was the deal. At Roy Wilkens Auditorium, they had no cabs on stage at all. Search You Tube for Roy Wilkens, Alice inChains. Search the live sound forum for additional confirmation as well.
The sound at both of the shows was superb.

Sorry fellas, but I stood right in front of this rig today with everything running. He's using it...SVT-4 Pros for the 18's, and a '73 SVT for the 810. He's only kicking in the sansamp for extra grit.
Mike is definitely running into the SVT's live...you just can't see them. They sit right by his bass vault on the side of the stage.
Mike runs them, because he wants to feel them. This is a big reason why he's running the 18's and they are running extra subs on the side fills on his side of the stage. (or at least on Uproar)
Even in 2010, as micromolder is likely referring to, they were running cabs on stage, they were just placed behind the scrims that made up the backline. Believe it or not, they put a huge amount of thought into how the stage looks. That tour they made the decision to scrim the cabinets.
While the majority of Mike, William and Jerry's sound is all coming from offstage, they do run the cabs onstage and also mic them. You best believe anything they are doing is done right, and has more thought and research put behind it then any weekenders could dream.
Everyone involved in the band and crew is at the top of their games, there are probably a only a handful of people not involved that are qualified.
Some of the interesting things to note is that they are running 6 actively switched (with mix profiles) vocal mics, IEMs, floor wedges, side fills, and live stage cabs. On paper to the average guy like us, it sounds completely ********, in reality, it is working perfectly, and it's not by luck.

For a fact Inez has svt2s in a rack out of sight. He uses the 8x10s those other cabs are 1x18s all plugged in and lately he does use the sansamp. I would imagine when your rich and have a crew anyone of us would load the stage cuz it looks kick ass! I personally think seeing one little cab on a big stage looks stupid. I wanna see a wall of cabs even if they are fake, unplugged or low. Rock n roll is sight n sound, hence bands like kiss! Its a SHOW!
