Mike Lull 2013 "Pipeline" Orders

That black/maple/tort you have at the store is pretty awesome looking. I'm torn (surprise) between P or J, 4 or 5, active or passive. My intuition says passive P4 as a contrast to my active soap 5.
Here's a new order that I just got going with Mike Lull! This one is loosely inspired by Pino's '62 Fiesta Red P. This Lull will use the same woods and colors, but it will have a narrower J neck.

The black PJ4 has the Norstrand P/DC pickup arrangement and an anodized pickguard. That one in particular is setting my heart aflutter. Can't wait to see it in person!

Those will be killer basses. Was just at Mike's shop yesterday and played a number of basses, including a PJ4 with the Nordy P/DC combo. It was all passive and pretty full sounding. Also tried a Bryan Beller Sig that was pretty incredible.
On a side note, is this list price for a P4 still $3200 or has there been a price increase? I see a P4 on BassNW's site that shows the list price as $3500.

That "Pino" with a J neck is going to be killer. Just my kind of P bass.
The current List Price on the P4 is indeed $3200. The P5 is $3500, maybe that's the confusion?
EDIT - scratch that, I found the bass on Bass NW's site. The $3500 includes the hardshell case which is a $300 List upgrade.
I don't know if you had a chance to mess around with the pickup balance much, but if you did I'd be curious if your experience matches mine. What I really dig about the P/DC setup is that you can blend the two pickups all over the place, and the volume and tone changes are never drastic. It's so smooth, and the tones are so good. I'm 95% sure my next bass is going to be a fretless PJ4 w/ those pickups in it.
I messed around with it for a few minutes and my experience matches yours. The volume stayed pretty consistent throughout the range of the blend. It was definitely a good sounding bass, but I preferred the PJ I played with Fralins. There was also a P4 with the Aguilar hot P in it that Mike had at NAMM. It was a good feeling and playing bass, but the Aggy pickup left something to be desired.

That PJ4 looks excellent. Has sort of a '58 P vibe with that gold pickguard.
The recording studio has been too cold here recently, so today I moved the necessary hardware into our nearly done showroom and shot this video. I hope to knock out a few more over the next few days if inspiration strikes and time permits...

LOL - Bjornar from Norway asked for a clip of this Lull first (on facebook), but the Whiskey L-1000 is next on the list! Just gotta work up a tune and survive the winter storm that's coming in about an hour.

I remember seeing that one at Mike's shop a couple weeks ago. I saw the original body, which ended up looking sort of plum colored, with an all maple neck on it.
