Mike Lull Deals

I'm getting a little tired of looking at the same three Mike Lull basses on my website. LOL I want to turn these three into cash and then get some fresh stuff from Mike.

All 3 of these basses qualify for Mike's new policy which allows dealers to knock 10% off after a bass has been at the shop for 3 months (or maybe it's 6 months). Either way, these all meet that criteria.

You can see the discounted price right there on my website by adding the bass the shopping cart, but just to be abundantly clear...

This Lull PJ4 (Seafoam Green) is marked down from $2820 to $2540.

This Lull M5V (Natural) is marked down from $3499 to $3149.

This Lull P4 (Maui Blue) is marked down from $3000 to $2700. And as an added bonus, I have $600 worth of deposit from the person who ordered it (and could not take it) to apply to your purchase. So it's really just $2100 shipped. That's QUITE a bargain.

I've got a nibble on the Maui Blue one, so that might be moving on. Which reminds me that I'm still anxious to move all of these, so let me know if you're interested!

I'm GAS'ing real hard for a new P4 fretless for myself. Ash body, unlined Ebony board, 3 Tone Sunburst, Tort guard, possibly with a reverse P configuration using a Honey Badger vintage wind pickup. I've got a Rob Allen bass here that I'm going to sell for a friend, and then he'll use the proceeds from that to buy my existing Fiesta Red fretless P4. That should get me most of the way to ordering my new fretless...

I'm looking to order something new for inventory soon, too. Gotta get my Lull inventory back up to snuff. Anyone dreaming of anything in particular? If it's not too oddball, I might just order it so it's here whenever you want it. LOL

PJ-5, ash body, rosewood fingerboard, 35" scale, Bartolini NTMB (is that really a $600 upcharge in this bass?), three tone sunburst, tort or Pearloid pickguard, chrome hardware. Pearloid blocks would be awesome, but another $600...

Yeah, making any of Mike's passive basses (which the PJ-5 is) into an active bass gets a $600 upcharge. He's got to manually route the battery and control cavities after the fact, and I'm sure that is both time consuming and moderately stressful.

Back when I lived in Seattle, I played a fretless M5 (24 fretless, active) that they had at Bass NW and it was totally sweet. Went back the next day intending to buy it, but it had sold. Definitely not what I’m gassing for now, but somebody else might be. Would look great in that caramel burst finish.

Won't have the funds for the foreseeable future but I dig the PT4/5 and JT4/5 models. Ergonomics and classic style of precision or jazz body with thunderbird pickups? Yes please.

Maybe even an artist model would be cool to stock. It may have wider appeal than a full-on custom order.

Things are happening again on the Lull front! I've had 2 special orders come through in the past few months, and I've got a lovely Black/Maple P4 for inventory on the way as we speak. That'll double my current Lull inventory. LOL

It's nice to see signs of life with Mike's brand again. I hope to get things rolling again.

Here's the first new Mike Lull bass I've received in probably 2-3 years. I'm taking baby steps to get back on that bandwagon, and I hope to can get folks on TalkBass excited about this brand again. I'd love to start moving some more of these awesome basses. I know I love my fretted P4 to death, it's been my main player for 4 years now. I bought it in May of 2014, so I just missed it's birthday.

This one was inspired by Roger Water's famous Precision bass from the Dark Side Of The Moon (and beyond) days. It's a really simple look that I think is perfect for Roger's style. He's a pretty basic meat-and-potatoes kind of player, and this bass is right in keeping with that approach. Black body, black pickguard, Maple board... done. I love it. Somebody please buy this before I'm tempted to do so.
