So sad to hear, and my thoughts and condolences go to the Porcaro family along with the Toto family at large. RIP Mike.

Mike tearing it up.
I'm really having a hard time today with the news of his passing. Everyone who knows me knows what a huge Toto fanatic I am and I feel so sorry for the Porcaro family to have lost another and for Luke and Paich to have lost a brother as well.![]()

Wonder why that post didn't get any responses???I dug up a thread I posted about 7 or 8 years ago after seeing TOTO play. This was a year or two before the ALS diagnosis came through. My wife and I knew something was wrong but we had no idea how severe it would turn out to be. Watching him play through the pain was really heartbreaking. Especially with both of his thumbs wrapped up in some sort of immobilizing brace...I spent some time online trying to figure out what sort of orthopedic support they might be providing him. Just the saddest thing ever.
