MIM Jazz vs. Squier 5 Jazz

Question for my fellow members of the Bass community...
I have the opportunity to buy a Used MIM Fender American Standard Jazz Bass or a New Squier Deluxe Active 5 string Jazz.
Decisions...
Feed back is appreciated.

I don't care for Fender 5-strings. They're... I dunno, just not for me. The balance feels wrong and they feel clunky to play. Used MIM Fender Standard Jazz Bass is the way I'd go. Full disclosure, there's one three feet from my right elbow.

Between the two, the MIM. I love Fender and Squier passive basses, their active basses not so much. I've had a couple of active Squier basses didn't like them.
Although the bigger question seems to be whether you want a 4 or 5 string bass next.
