On another note I bought a knockoff Fender standard P guard from Hong Kong to put on my Squier CV P and to my astonishment it fit perfectly. All the holes were where they're supposed to be. If China can do it why can't the Mexican factory? Bizarre.

Here you go. Pretty wide gap. Can see the wiring of you look closely.

Yeah that's not nice. If it was mine, considering it is a contemporary MIM a that you got used for 225, I would redo the control plate screw holes and make it fit. It's only an MIM
