Mini Rigs of Doom Four

SO MUCH CARPET :woot:

Haha, I hate it all, except that cat tree, she can keep that. If I hold onto that Ashdown it's getting a new enclosure, and I'm probably going to tolex, or just sand and finish the cab like Bag End does with their recent cabs. These don't need to survive the road, they can look a bit prettier.

As for the floors, my next place is having hardwood, shag vacuuming.

Which stack would you choose?

Having tried both, it's the Genzler stack hands down. The features on the MG350 are everything I need and nothing that I don't. The dispersion, balance and clarity of the BA10-2s is remarkable. I've never cared for the upper mid prominence in the Berg neo cabs and I don't need, or want to pay for, all the bells and whistles on the B-Amp. All of course in my humble and respectful opinion.

I've been using two Trace Elliot Elf 1x10 cabs for smaller gigs for a while now. They sound great and I LOVE their light weight - 16.2 lbs each!

For larger (mostly outside) gigs I'd been using two Hartke HyDrive HD112's, but I'm 71, and recently tweaked a hamstring lifting one.

So, fearing that only two Elf 1x10's may not cut it for larger gigs, they mated and produced a third, delivered today by Dr. Sweetwater (on sale for $349). The Mesa goes down to 2 ohms (switch in back).

I always DI to the PA, so I'm golden (knock on wood).
